The five products I've discovered and have been loving this month. You can watch the video over on IGTV

1. L'Oreal Extraordinary Oil £13

I discovered this while spending time in my home in Greece and on the search for something - anything to take down the frizz and fight the humidity.

This is a lightweight multi-purpose oil containing 6 precious plant extracts and coconut and sunflower oils. You can apply it to wet or dry hair, and the amount will depend on how thick, coarse and 'dry' your hair is. I apply both to wet and dry and use it almost like a daily mosturiser. It can be used as a styling product also as it contains heat protector which is a big plus for me.

2. Evolve Beauty Bio-Retinol + C Skin Booster £28

I first discovered Evolve Beauty through a PR friend who introduced me to the founder. It's a conscious brand producing natural and organic skin and body care, hand-blended in small batches in Hertfordshire.

While I believe that natural isn't necessarily better, this is a really lovely product. It has Bakuchiol, a 100% natural Retinol analogue bio-retinol and is 'gentle' enough to use morning or evening. It smells quite 'fruity'which might put some people off and has an oil base, but it soon soaks in.

This serum is also super-charged with vitamins A, C, F and E blended together with Rosehip Oil and just feels gorgeous to apply. It's designed to help pigmentation while increasing collagen production and hydration to boost radiance and glow.

3. Caudalie Premier Cru The Eye Cream £49

I have used and loved this product for many years since I worked with the brand over 10 years ago. It's one of my 'go-to' eye creams for intense nourishment and 'instant gratification' as it also has a light reflecting element giving you an instant radiance around the eye area.

Key ingredients include Hylaronic Acid, Caffeine, Polyphenols and Resveratrol for firming, anti-wrinkle, brightening and plumping. It's not cheap but you only need a little pump and it does seem to last a good couple of months.

4. Amare Vita The One £55

I was recently introduced to the brand through the PR. Usually skeptical about new skincare brands as there are so many launches and each say they are unique. However, I really like this one. They had me at first base at the packaging. But I also love the simplicity of it. This is a serum, moisturiser and an SPF (30) all in one pot. The full spectrum SPF apparently has a prebiotic protection and is also proven to shield skin from digital and urban pollution.

This product also contains bakuchiol and a mix of uplifting essential oils including lavender, rose, geranium and grapefruit. It's a British-made brand, and prides itself on the best of science meets nature botanicals. Cruelty free, vegan, sustainable and the rest.

5. Dr Harris Anti-Wrinkle Sleep Mask £89.99

I had been wanting to try this mask ever since I learned about it's launch. A silk sleep mask which can actually improve your skin while you sleep - what's not to love? The fact that my friend, and highly trusted and respected journalist Alice Hart-Davis is an ambassador for it (and also stocks it on her website The Tweakments Guide), is enough of an endorsement for me.

Designed by the highly respected aesthetic doctor, Dr Stephen Harris, it is meant to soften frown lines and apparently make you feel 67% more relaxed. How it works is that there are a series of silicon bobbles - meticulously placed to sit on the forehead and around the eye area which react with the mechanoreceptors in the skin to have a relaxing effect on the muscles. They are sensitive to pressure, so it is recommended that you apply gentle pressure in the centre of the forehead when you first put the mask on to activate the process.

I really love using this mask, whether it makes a huge difference for me, I can't tell at the moment as I have a little botox, but if you don't - you may notice more. I use it daily when I have that 5am wake-up as it starts to get light and the brain starts wizzing - and it really seems to help with getting back to sleep.
